About us
This website is part of a research project funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. Videos on the site were funded by the UBC Public Scholar’s Initiative.
Collaborators include; gynaecologists, allied health professionals and patient partners at the Centre for Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis located at BC Women’s Hospital + Health Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada as well as endometriosis.org and the Endometriosis Network Canada.
Researchers and trainees are with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and the School of Nursing at the University of British Columbia.
Our goal is to raise awareness of endometriosis-associated painful sex and improving care by sharing evidence-based information.
